Thus, regular hand washing with an alcohol-based solution and limited wearing of rings are directly related to a decreased rate of VAP. As well as adopting other infection control methods like hand washing, it would really help if doctors as well as nurses could practice good hygiene methods. Hand washing sounds simple, but many people don't do it very well. |
