Habronema a genus of nematodes in the order Spirurida. Habronema incertum found in the proventriculus and gizzard of companion birds causing chronic digestive upset and diarrhea. Also causes sudden death. Called also Spiroptera incerta. Habronema khalili found in the large intestine of elephant and rhinoceros. Habronema majus (syn.
