Gorham's disease

Etymology: Lemuel Whittington Gorham, American physician, 1885-1968
a gradual, but often complete, resorption of a bone or group of bones, which may be associated with multiple hemangiomas. It usually occurs in children or young adults, sometimes following trauma, but its cause is unknown.
