Goniocotes a genus of lice infesting the feathers of domestic fowl and guinea fowl. They belong to the superfamily Ischnocera. Goniocotes gallinae (syn. Goniocotes hologaster, Goniodes hologaster) found in the feathers of domestic fowl. Called also fluff lice. Goniocotes hologaster see G. gallinae (above).
