Asian and Australian trees in the family Euphorbiaceae; their milky sap is very irritating and causes intense pain in the eye or on other tender parts. Cause poisoning of livestock. No specific toxin has been identified. Includes E. agallochia (river poison tree, milky mangrove), E. dallychyana (gutta-percha).
