glycosidase /gly·co·si·dase/ (gli-ko´sĭ-dās) any of a group of hydrolytic enzymes that catalyze the cleavage of hemiacetal bonds of glycosides.
β-glycosidase

The researchers hope that the two bacterial glycosidase enzymes will improve erratic supplies of blood and increase the safety of transfusions.
The Glycosidase activity was measured by performing a filter paper assay, the Endoglucanase activity found by a carboxymethylcellulose assay, and the protein content by a Bradford assay.
In general, glycosidase profiles were similar despite the carbohydrate used for growth, including glucose.
