Ghon's complex

Etymology: Anton Ghon, Czechoslovakian pathologist, 1866-1936
a combination of pleural surface-healed granulomas, calcifications, or scars on the middle lobe of the lung together with hilar lymph node granulomas. The complex is evidence that a primary tuberculosis case, usually from a childhood infection, has healed.
