German pinscher

German pinscher
a medium-sized (25-35 lb), compact dog with a short, smooth coat in black or shades of gray, red or brown. The ears may be erect or dropped, but usually cropped, and the tail is docked to a short length. Called also Standard Pinscher.

It is believed that the Miniature Pinscher evolved from the ancient German Pinscher family of dogs, which ultimately produced a number of the breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club today.
Sally Benson, of New Jersey, had taught German pinscher Thor to dial 911 by smearing cream cheese on the buttons.
The bottom 10 are the plott coonhound, Dandie Dinmont terrier, Sealyham terrier, German pinscher, Canaan, komondor, American foxhound, harrier, otterhound and, in last place, the English foxhound.
