genetic sexual attraction

A contrived term for an overwhelming sexual attraction that may develop between close blood relatives who first meet as adults.

In the US, a sexual relationship between close blood relatives (father, mother, brother and sister, aunt, uncle, niece and nephew, often also first cousins, step parents and step brothers and sisters) is illegal and deemed incestuous; the specifics of incest laws vary by state.
