| Martin-Alexander, explores a wide range of experience as expressed through photography-based visual media by and about "transgender[s], genderqueer[s], and [those from] gender variant perspectives," as noted on the gallery's Web site. The commission says that, among other things, it includes transgenderists, transsexuals, cross-dressers, drag kings and queens, and even gender variants who may not identify with either sex. A gender variant can be offered what the HRC says is reasonable, but the code itself says they don't have to accept it - that person has sole determination of what shower they go into and when. |
