A rule that arose in the US Supreme Court’s decision in Rust v. Sullivan which prohibits physicians employed by Title X projects from fully counselling women who are unintentionally pregnant, thereby preventing physicians from offering nondirective advice on prenatal, infant, foster care, adoption, and pregnancy termination
