SUCNR1

A gene on chromosome 3q25.1 that encodes a G protein-coupled receptor for succinate, an intermediate metabolite in the citric acid cycle that promotes haematopoietic progenitor cell development.

Molecular pathology
SUCNR1 may play a role in renovascular hypertension which correlates with renal failure, diabetes and atherosclerosis.
