GATA2

A gene on chromosome 3q21.3 that encodes a member of the GATA family of zinc finger transcription factors, which plays a key role in regulating transcription of genes involved in the development and proliferation of haematopoietic and endocrine cell lineages, and in regulating endothelin-1 gene expression.
