GATA3

A gene on chromosome 10p15 that encodes a zinc finger protein belonging to the GATA family of transcription factors, which is a key regulator of T-cell development and plays an important role in endothelial cell biology.

Molecular pathology
GATA3 mutations cause hypoparathyroidism with sensorineural deafness and renal dysplasia.

The second article focuses on papillary and nonpapillary breast lesions and their differential diagnosis; the diagnostic and prognostic IHC markers for triple-negative breast cancers, such as proline glutamic acid and leucine-rich protein (PELP1), GATA-binding protein 3 (GATA3), and androgen receptor (AR); and an example with aberrant expression of breast markers in lung adenocarcinoma.
The mRNA expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription-3, T-box transcription factor TBX21, interferon-y, forkhead box P3, GATA-binding protein 3, interleukin-10, and interleukin-5 also were analyzed using real-time polymerase chain reaction.
