GAS2

GAS2

A gene on chromosome 11p14.3 that encodes growth arrest-specific 2, a ubiquitously expressed caspase-3 substrate which plays a role in regulating microfilament and cell shape changes during apoptosis; it also modulates cell susceptibility to p53-dependent apoptosis by inhibiting calpain activity. It is highly expressed in the liver, lungs and kidneys.

The averages are derived from calculations performed on log data within one well, namely the salt substitution within GAS2 and WTR.
For the salt-plugged zone scenarios (WTR and GAS2 well), the velocity prediction also overlays nicely as in the cases of water and gas wells (figure 9).
