Fox v. Health Net

A lawsuit in which the plaintiff sought coverage for a bone marrow transplant (BMT) to treat her advanced breast cancer. The insurer denied coverage because outside experts agreed that BMTs for cancers as advanced as hers had little value. BMTs have indeed proven useless in these patients
