Flexible Training

Flexible Training

A term referring to a non-traditional format for training doctors and dentists in the UK, which is carried out on a part-time basis, and organised through the training centre’s deanery by the Associate Dean. The deanery provides confidential advice and information on working flexibly, and options for doctors who choose not to train full time because of “well-founded individual reasons”, as defined by European Union Council directive 93/16-/EEC 1993.
