Flexibacter
members of the Cytophaga/Flexibacter group of long, flexuous, gram-negative bacteria; common cause of superficial infections. Includes F. columnaris (Cytophaga columnaris, see columnaris disease), F. maritimus (see marine flexibacter disease). See also cytophaga.
