Primum Non Nocere
Latin for ‘first do no harm.’ A guiding principle for physicians that, whatever the intervention or procedure, the patient’s well-being is the primary consideration

primum non nocere (prēˈ·mum nōnˈ n·kāˑ·rā),
n ‘first do no harm.’ One of the fundamental principles of medicine according to which the physician should not cause harm to the patient.
