a forward bending at the fetlock joint. May be a feature of the conformation or a sign of neurological deficit. Called also overshot fetlock.
knuckling over
sometimes used synonymously with knuckling. Also refers to weightbearing on the dorsal surface of a flexed foot or paw; often a sign of deficit in normal proprioception that would reflexly cause a repositioning to the normal position.
