a genus of small cylindrical worms (acanthocephalans) in the family Polymorphidae and the order Palaeacanthocephala.

Filicollis anatis
found in the intestine of wild and domestic aquatic birds. Causes emaciation and some deaths due to peritonitis as a result of perforation of the bowel wall. Called also thorny-headed worm.
