Exotic shorthair

Exotic shorthair
a cat breed derived from crossing American shorthair cats with Persians. It closely resembles the Persian ancestors, with small ears, large round eyes, and a short nose. It has a medium-length coat in many different colors.

Some of these races you might consider Abyssinian cats, which look much like a Siamese, with the exception of coloring; Exotic Shorthairs, which have the appearance of royalty, with less fur, Maine Coon cats with their trademark or missing stubby tail; Bengals, who are in fact a hybrid between a Bengal cat and a domestic cat.
Now she's made a career out of Persians, breeding the fluffy, round-headed felines - plus exotic shorthairs, which are Persians with short, plush coats - for more than 26 years.
We checked with our veterinarian and found that the Maltese breed has a predisposition towards eye stain problems as do several many other dog and cat breeds like: Maltipoos, Bichon Frise, Lhasa Apso, Papillion, Bulldogs, Cocker Spaniel, Shih Tzu and cat breeds like: Persians, Himalayans, Exotic Shorthairs, Devon Rex, and Scottish Folds.
