25) Simple coacervates can be formed by the addition of polymers such as polyethylene to solutions of ethylcellulose in cyclohexane.
Products will include high performance cellulosics (methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxyethyl methylcellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, ethylcellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, and nitrocellulose) as well as companion chemistries (polyethylene oxide, redispersible latex powders, and cationic polymers).
