English setter a medium-weight, tall, lean, deep-chested dog with a long, silky coat that is most profuse under the neck, trunk, tail and behind the legs. The coat is basically white with black, liver, lemon or orange spots and flecks. The breed is predisposed to neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis (juvenile amaurotic familial idiocy), entropion and progressive retinal atrophy. How to thank TFD for its existence?
