The 2004 530i, 545i and 645i were tested for levels of electromagnetic interference.
It meets the same electromagnetic interference and vibration requirements as the heater itself.
However, further improvement was achieved through powering the systems from separate isolated batteries, from a more compact design that reduces pickup of external signals, and from the addition of electromagnetic interference shields.
