electroejaculation /elec·tro·ejac·u·la·tion/ (EEJ) (e-lek″tro-e-jak″u-la´shun) induction of ejaculation by application of a gradually increasing electrical current delivered through a probe inserted into the rectum.
electroejaculation
a method used for the collection of semen for artificial insemination or for examination. Electrical stimulation has to be provided by electrodes applied to the lumbar sympathetic nerves to promote semen emission and to the pelvic splanchnic and internal pudendal nerves to promote ejaculation and erection of the penis. The electrodes are contained in a probe placed in the rectum.
