The EHD file was created by Health Canada using estimates of CDBP levels based on four surveys of water treatment facilities in 650 municipalities that had been conducted in 1962, 1975, 1988, and 1995.
EHD is BPT's proprietary approach to aerosolizing liquids for pulmonary delivery of drugs.
The investigation began in late 1998, after the EHD received a series of consumer complaints about cleanliness at local stores.
