Duodenal atresia
Closure or blockage of the duodenum, the upper section of the small intestine. Mentioned in: Polyhydramnios and Oligohydramnios
duodenal atresia, congenital absence or occlusion of a portion of the duodenum, characterized by vomiting a few hours after birth, cessation of bowel movements after 1 to 3 days, and usually distension of the epigastrium.
