A psychiatric disorder characterised by major (clinical) depression superimposed on dysthymia—chronic depression dysthymic disorder—minor depression in which there is a subtext of hopelessness and loss of control over one’s life circumstances

There is a strong possibility of double depression occurring to the individual.
