desmopressin /des·mo·pres·sin/ (des″mo-pres´in) a synthetic analogue of vasopressin, used as the acetate salt as an antidiuretic in central diabetes insipidus and in primary nocturnal enuresis, and as an antihemorrhagic in hemophilia A and von Willebrand's disease.
