The story takes a serious turn when Scott puts Rohypnol, the date rape drug, into Jenna's drink. One of three women drugged, raped and videotaped by Max Factor heir Andrew Luster was awarded $19 million in damages Friday by a judge sending an ``uncompromising message'' to predators using the date rape drug GHB. It's not clear exactly how often rapists use GHB or Rohypnol, but such cases are surely much rarer than the hysterical reaction from the press and Congress (which passed a Date Rape Drug Prohibition Act last year) would lead one to believe. |
