bar code

(bahr kōd)
A code consisting of a group of printed, variably patterned bars and spaces scanned by lasers into a computer to identify the object it labels.

bar code

A parallel array of alternately spaced black bars and white spaces representing a coded number, numbers, or letters, depending on the format employed. It is used clinically for patient sample identification as well as analyzer and operator ID.

It performs computation directly on the rows of the data matrix instead of constructing E.
To reduce the dimension of the data matrix both in the number of rows and columns, that is, to find a suitably non sparse dataset more appropriate for applying established clustering methods, we develop a procedure based on information theory.
Commenting on the UK's stance on the likelihood of adopting a similar system, Roger Lamb advises: "The Department of Health's Procurement, Investment and Commercial Division (PICD) in the UK is currently discussing the adoption of GS1 Data Matrix with the pharmaceutical industry.
Let Y denote the complete data matrix with density p(Y|[theta]) where [theta] [member of] [R.
Upon entering the correct Identity Authentication PIN, a process is started that authenticates the validity of the identity file; combines the appraiser's identity and license information with the salient features of the appraisal into a data matrix; and then affixes the data matrix to the original PDF report in the form of a new Security Cover page.
To ensure consistent, high-quality 2D Data Matrix symbols marked directly on parts, many automotive and aerospace companies such as Delphi, General Motors, Pratt Whitney, GE Aircraft Engines, and Raytheon immediately verify the code following the marking operation.
The ability to scan a machine-readable data matrix code when a part is installed or removed from an aircraft will eliminate the common errors we see today.
Due to the high information density inherent to Data Matrix codes, they also offer built-in error-correction techniques which allow fully recovering the message encoded in a Data Matrix symbol even if the mark is damaged and missing as much as 20% of the symbol.
San Jose -- In October, SEMI announced the release of eight standards, including specifications for epitaxial silicon wafers, test methods for measuring mechanical vibrations in FPD handling equipment, MEMS terminologies and data matrix symbology for automated identification of EUV lithography masks.
The company makes two-dimensional code reading equipment, which includes the 2D Data Matrix.
In the system, assets are uniquely labeled with standard 2D Data Matrix barcodes or with Visidot Colorcodes.
