Combining an antifungal with a steroid cream (eg Daktacort and Canesten HC) helps target particularly stubborn itchy, cracked areas where standard creams have failed.
Treat with canesten hc or daktacort cream, available from your pharmacist.
An anti-fungal cream will usually calm the problem and those which contain a low dose of steroid, such as Daktacort or Canesten HC, are especially useful if the itch is especially troublesome.
