WDR11

A gene on chromosome 10q26 that encodes a member of the WD-repeat protein family, which are involved in various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis and gene regulation. WDR11 is located in a chromosome region frequently deleted in gliomas and tumours of other tissues, suggesting that it may be a tumour suppressor.
