DDX41

A gene on chromosome 5q35.3 that encodes a protein with a conserved Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp—DEAD motif, which is a probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase. It is required during post-transcriptional gene expression, and may be involved in pre-mRNA splicing.
