Cyathostominae

a subfamily of the strongylid roundworms of horses which replaces the original genus of Trichonema. It includes the genera Cyathostomum, Cylicocyclus, Cylicodontophorus, Cylicostephanus, Poteriostomum, Petrovinema, Gyalocephalus, Cylindropharynx or Caballonema.
