Migraine without aura Neurology An episodic headache that accounts for ±80% of migraines, and lasts between 4 and 72 hrs, associated with N&V; it is a common type of chronic headache, more common in ♀ between age 10 and 46, and not associated with typical migraine prodromes–eg, aura; Pts are asymptomatic between episodes; in²⁄₃, the headaches are unilateral, pulsating and of moderate to severe intensity, and may be accompanied by photophobia and phonophobia; there may be a family history of migraines and also of travel sickness. A. Amy is right. My migraines started when I was 14 and so did my menstrual cycle. Male or female talk to your doctor there are lots of migraine meds and don't forget foods can be a trigger too! Do you go out to eat a certain type of food once a month?Friends at work and I use to go out month and I always got a migraine...the doctor solved that one for me so wwe changes where we ate!
