n.
1. An artery with origin in the ulnar artery and with branches to the anterior and posterior interosseous arteries; common interosseous artery.
2. An artery with origin in the common interosseous artery and with distribution to the deep posterior compartment of the forearm; posterior interosseous artery.
3. An artery with origin in the common interosseous artery, with distribution to the deep anterior forearm, and with anastomoses to the posterior interosseous artery; anterior interosseous artery.
4. An artery with origin in the posterior interosseous artery, with distribution to the elbow joint, and with anastomoses to the branches of the deep brachial artery and the inferior ulnar collateral artery; recurrent interosseous artery.
