Tanacetum vulgare, Tanacetum aubiderti, Chrysanthemum vulgare, Chrysanthemum tanacetum; parts used: leaves, flowers, seeds; uses: anthelmintic, menstrual irregularities, antispasmodic, carminative, kidney disorders, hysteria, stomach problems, febrifuge, inflammatory skin disease, used to kill lice, fleas, scabies; precautions: may cause the premature expulsion of a premature fetus, may be toxic in large quantities. Also called
bachelor's buttons, bitter buttons, boerenwormkruid, buttons, ginger plant, gold-buttons, ponso, solucanotu, tanaceto, tansy, and
yomogi-giku.
