An annual herb that contains citric acid, coumarins and tannins; it is diuretic and alterative (i.e., stimulates lymphatic circulation), and is used to treat kidney stones, arthritis, hypertension, skin conditions (e.g., eczema and psoriasis), and is believed to be of use in treating lymphomas.
An invasive weed native to Eurasia and North America from which a tea is made that is used in herbal medicine as a diuretic and to promote healing. Synonym: catchweed; cleavers; goosegrass
