In this study, the results suggested that colistin sulfate and bacitracin zinc could promote piglet' growth performance by increasing the rate of the development and maturation of the microbiota to the form found in adults [16].
1 mL of the culture was transferred into 10 mL of CAMHB containing colistin sulfate at 2x MIC (Passage 2), and the cultures were incubated (see above).
1 mL of the culture of ABC from passage 2 was transferred into 10 mL of CAMHB containing colistin sulfate at 8x MIC (Passage 3), and the cultures were incubated.
1 mL of the culture of ABC from passage 3 was transferred into 10 mL of CAMHB containing colistin sulfate at 64x MIC (Passage 4), and the cultures were incubated.
The rabbits (n=6) in different experimental groups were given colistin sulfate, CMS, once daily according to the following schedule.
in two consecutive studies on rats also described severe acute tubular damage with necrosis and apoptosis of the epithelial cells by a cumulative colistin sulfate dose of 36.

8] CFU/mL in each well, and the final concentration of colistin sulfate was 3.
To do so, we performed the rapid polymyxin NP test with 20 colistin/polymyxin B-susceptible isolates and 20 colistin/polymyxin B-resistant isolates with polymyxin B at the same concentrations of colistin sulfate.
The rapid polymyxin NP test uses commercially available polymyxin B and colistin sulfate powders, which are unspecified mixtures of chemically related compounds that differ by single amino acid changes and fatty acyl moieties.
2) Antibiotic treatment was fed 100 ppm colistin sulfate (Elanco Animal Health IN, USA), 50 ppm kitasamycin (Heruikang Animal Health, Chongqing, China) and 60 ppm olaquidox (Zhongmuanda group, Hubei, China); ASD: ACTIVATE Starter DA was a dry organic acid blend composed of calcium salt of 2-hydroxy-4-methylthiobutanoic acid, fumaric acid, benzoic acid, and carrier with 31% L-met activity (supplied by Novus International, Inc.
All isolates were susceptible to ciprofloxacin, colistin sulfate, minocycline, and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole.
