Q. Have you heard of CoD(tm) Tea and Nutritional System to treat cancer? Does it apply to brain cancer too? There have already been 6 brain tumors. A friend told me about this tea that's supposed to help, in addition to chemo, against malignant tumors. Have any of you heard of it? If it works, why is there so little research about it?

But after many hours of conversations with researchers and practitioners as diverse as Anthony Bryk (Stanford University), Linda Darling Hammond (Stanford), Gene Bottoms (Southern Regional Education Board), Judy Codding (America's Choice cofounder), and Ted Sizer (Coalition of Essential Schools), Vander Ark became convinced that high school was where the reform money was most needed and that existing high schools were intrinsically weak institutions that could not be fixed on the margins.
Fryer says it wasn't uncommon for him to speak weekly or even daily to America's Choice chief executive, Judy Codding, during the organization's first years of work in Duval County.
That's the thesis underlying the school reform movement of the past 15 years, and it's the core belief of the new book Standards for Our Schools, by Marc Tucker and Judy Codding.
