Now, researchers at McGill University have discovered that clioquinol acts directly on an aging gene called, CLK1, often informally called 'clock-1.
The investigators maintain that clioquinol will target the formation of amyloid plaques in the brain and thereby slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
Your treatment depends on the cause, but vioform-hydrocortisone cream (hydrocortisone 1 per cent, clioquinol 3 per cent) will reduce the redness and soreness and treat any infection.
