Cleveland affair

An inquiry in the UK in which overzealous doctors (Dr. Marietta Higgs and Dr. Geoffrey Wyatt) overdiagnosed 121 cases of sexual abuse of children based on inadequate evidence. The court later dropped 96 of the cases. The aggrieved parents filed a class action suit.
