Class A drug

A category of controlled drugs (under the UK Misuse of Drugs Act 1971) which includes the most dangerous misuse substances, most of which are natural or synthetic opioids, but which also include a few hallucinogens.

Cocaine, heroin, hydrocodone, LSD, MDMA, mescaline, methadone, methamphetamine, morphine, opium, phencyclidine, PCP.
