a white or cream breed of cattle with pink mucosae, produced in central France and used for dairy, beef or draft purposes.

Interbreed champion at Llanrwst was a homebred Charollais ewe lamb from Ifan Huw Hughes, of Bryn Ethiniog, Pontllyni.
A Charollais ewe called Dalby Champagne, owned and bred by Charles Sercombe of Melton Mowbray, was chosen as Champion of Champions.
Dozens of top-quality rams were on offer, including breeds like Texals and Suffolk Charollais.
