cerebral haemorrhage

Bleeding within the brain or under the membranes surrounding it. See also SUBARACHNOID HAEMORRHAGE, STROKE.

cerebral haemorrhage

bleeding within the cerebral hemispheres of the brain. In sport cerebral haemorrhage may be caused by a head injury and can result in a deteriorating level of consciousness and possibly death. See also Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS).
