CDK3

A gene on chromosome 17q22-qter that encodes a cyclin-dependent protein kinase, which promotes entry into S phase in part by activating E2F family transcription factors. CDK3 associates with cyclin C and phosphorylates retinoblastoma 1 protein to promote exit from G0.
