SIESTA

Snooze-Induced Excitation of Sympathetic Triggered. A poorly studied phenomenon in which elderly subjects appear to have an increase in vascular mortality following a siesta (a short rest or nap), which has been attributed to an afternoon peak in blood pressure and heart rate.
