calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor (Pindborg tumor), n an uncommon tumor arising from odontogenic epithelium characterized by focal areas of calcification. It has the same age, gender, and site distribution as the ameloblastoma. calcifying mineralized. calcifying aponeurotic fibroma locally aggressive nodular masses that involve membranous bones, particularly those of the canine skull (zygomatic arch), and rarely metastasize.
